K-Load

K-Load is a system of evaluation and training orientation that aims to increase the effectiveness and safety in the preparation of long-distance runners. Based on recent contributions of complexity science, biomedicine and psychobiology reporting any imbalances caused by training. Present a method individualized-dialogued to recover the coherence of the organic functions and optimize the training process. It consists of two parts:

K-load Evaluation System: mainly studies the interaction between musculoskeletal system, nervous and cardiovascular through a software that performs a fractal analysis of ECG during a stepped effort. Through an advanced mathematical analysis reports on the coordinative and integrated dynamic of the systems involved. Identify the structure, substructure or organ function resulting mainly limiting the effort and related to possible compensatory overload or stress suffered by other organ systems. The evaluation system K-Load has been successfully used in tracking Olympic athletes of different modalities and has wide acceptance because it is a single submaximal non-invasive test that integrates different levels of analysis (from cellular to systemic).

K-Load Training System: Based on principles of dynamic integration and nonlinear considering the levels of analysis in K-Load Evaluation system. From test results and dialogue with the athlete to contrast his experience, training habits and preferences establishes an adjust, individualized and unique program. It use a methodology based on fractal variability of loads. The purpose of the program, which adapts weekly, is to achieve greater coordination and adaptive capacity of different organ systems involved in the effort to optimize the training process and performance avoiding health risks.

Learning Path: K-Load system also has a pedagogical orientation aims at providing a better self-response of the athlete to the stress, as well as tools for self-monitoring and self-management of their workouts.
