HERE YOU WILL FIND SOME INFORMATION  à The Santa Fe Institute is a transdisciplinary research community that expands the boundaries of scientific understanding. Its aim is to discover, comprehend, and communicate the common fundamental principles in complex physical, computational, biological, and social systems that underlie many of the most profound problems facing science and society today. à The Complexity Explorer site provides online courses and other educational materials related to complex systems science. à New England Complex Systems Institute has been instrumental in the development of complex systems science and its applications. We study how interactions within a system lead to its behavioral patterns, and how the system interacts with its environment.  à Launched in 2009 Institute for Complex Systems Simulation (ICSS) is a world-class simulation and modelling activity conducting ground-breaking research and running a flagship doctoral training programme in Complex Systems Simulation. à The Center for the Study of Complex Systems (CSCS) is a broadly interdisciplinary program in the College of Literature, Science and the Arts (LSA) at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Their mission is to encourage and facilitate research and education in the general area of nonlinear, dynamical and adaptive systems. à Complex System LAB is an interdisciplinary team exploring the evolution of complex systems, both natural and artificial, searching for their common laws of organization. They do both theoretical and experimental work, closely working in collaboration with the Santa Fe Institute. We study the origins and evolution of complex systems and the boundaries of such complexity (and how to break them) using methods from statistical physics, synthetic/systems biology and network theory. –> Complex Systems Society wants to promote the development of all aspects of complex systems science in the countries of Europe, as well as the whole international scientific community.  à Science of Complex Systems conducts quantitative complex systems research at the Medical University of Vienna – ranging from life science, quantitative social sciences, to applied mathematics and fundamental physics. The section is part of the Center for Medical Statistics, Informatics and Intelligent Systems. à The aim of the Young Researchers Network on Complex Systems (YRNCS) is to bring together the Young Researchers working on Complex Systems.  à Complex Systems As Fundamental Theory Of Sports Coaching? à The aim of this thematic network has the role of nucleation from a number of research groups that can be labeled with the common approach of the complex systems that have emerged almost spontaneously, in order to foster mutual knowledge, the across of approaches and techniques, and cross-fertilization of ideas. à The Center for Complex Systems and Brain Sciences is dedicated to understanding the principles and mechanisms that underlie complex behavior. From the microscopic level of cells and organelles to the grand scale of human interaction, their mission is to bring together multiple discplines to tackle the most intriguing questions about the brain, the mind, consciousness, and behavior. Complexity Digest has been successfully networking the complexity community since fall of 1999.
